Currently he is on the faculty at the University of Music in Hannover.
Tony won first prize at the NZ National Concerto Competition in 2007, and second prize and the “Best Classical Sonata Performance Award” at the 2008 Kerikeri National Piano Competition. He is a four-time recipient of the Lilburn Trust Student Composition Award (2006–2009) as well as the 2007 NZSO Todd Young Composer Award. He moved to Europe in 2012, and he also recently graduated with Distinction from his Soloist Diploma, studying with Andreas Immer in Freiburg as well as with Balázs Szokolay at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest.
Jun and Tony are playing Schubert’s Grand Duo, some Bach, Stravinsky’s own four-hand version of the Rite of Spring, and Ravel’s La Valse.
