The Marcellin College Jazz group is a collective of music students from the 4 jazz bands at Marcellin College. They vary from years 9 to 13 and play a wide variety of Jazz, Soul, Pop, Funk and original jazz music. All 4 bands and group are directed by their Head of Department Dr Opeloge Ah Sam who spent several years working in Kaitaia before returning to Auckland with his family. This is a Choose What You Pay performance and tamariki and rangatahi under 18 are free.
