Practical info

You can book tickets in three ways*:

  • Online. Our website links through to iTICKET event pages. Credit Card, Bank Transfer and online Eftpos payments are accepted.
  • Over the phone with iTICKET on 0508 iTICKET (0508 484 253).
  • In person at the Box Office. Our Box Office is located on the right as you come into the building. It’s open Monday to Friday, from 9.00am – 2:00pm and one hour before all ticketed events. Cash, Eftpos and Credit Card payments are accepted.

* Booking Fees apply.

You will be asked for some personal information when you purchase tickets, such as your name, email address and contact phone number. This information is used to contact you in the event of a cancellation or change to the show.

It’s not possible to reserve seats and pay later.  Tickets and seats are not to be given to you unless your order is paid in full.

If you have a phone that can display PDF files, you are welcome to open your eTicket on your phone and present this at the door. We can scan and validate your ticket directly off your phone screen.

Once payment for your order has been received, you should receive your eTicket within 5 minutes. Sometimes your Internet Service Provider may have delays with their email system, and therefore the delivery of your eTicket. If you haven’t received you eTicket within 2 hours, please call iTICKET on 0508 484-253.

We generally can not issue refunds or exchanges after a ticket has been purchased. Please be sure you choose your tickets carefully and agree to the terms and conditions of sale before confirming your purchase.

If an event is cancelled or postponed without a raindate being offered, or a refund is required by law, liability is limited to refunding the ticket price only. All other fees and charges are non-refundable.

    • Bookings fees are $2.50 per ticket, capped at $7.50 per order.
    • Payment fees are 2.5% for Credit Cards, $1.5 for Bank Transfers and 1.8% for Online Eftpos.

Our bar opens an hour before every show – a great reason to get here a little early for your show and enjoy a drink and snack.

Please note you can’t take glasses and glass bottles into the auditorium for shows. If you want to take a drink in to enjoy at your seat, please decant your drink in to a provided plastic cup.

The Turner Centre has plenty of onsite parking, with road parking nearby for sell-out shows.

There is no need to bring any parking money – parking is free!

There are three mobility car park spaces at the Turner Centre, directly outside reception.

There is no lift in the Turner Centre. We use a series of ramps to ensure access to all building areas.  The gallery seating area is not recommended for people with mobility difficulties as this is only accessible via stairs.

There are dedicated mobility seats. These seats cannot be booked online, please call iTICKET or come to the Turner Centre Box Office (spaces are limited). Companion seats are available for those booking wheelchair spaces and guide dogs are welcome at our venue.

We have a Hearing Aid Loop available in the Auditorium. Most modern hearing aids are compatible to connect to this system, however some brands don’t offer this option.

On some modern types of hearing aids, there is a setting that needs to be activated in the app on your phone. If you need help with this, please reach out to your audiologist/hearing aid provider.

Some types of hearing aids that are not compatible with a phone, could still connect to our hearing aid loop with an additional device. Talk to your audiologist for more information.

The reception for our Hearing Aid Loop is the strongest in the center seats of the Auditorium.

We recommend you arrive at the theatre at least 30 minutes before the start of the show. This will give you enough time to get a drink from the bar, and to find your seats before the performance starts.  Some performances have a very strict lockout policy. These are decided by the performers and mean that latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. This is at the discretion of the performers and in some instances can mean latecomers will not be admitted until the interval. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Generally, taking photos or videos on any device at a performance is not permitted. If in doubt, look for signage as you enter the Auditorium or ask an usher.  Please remember to turn your mobile device off or switch it to silent mode.

If you would like to hire a room or area of the Turner Centre for a meeting, party or conference, or if you are a promoter interested in bringing a show to Kerikeri, please visit our Venue & Spaces page for more information.
