Create a T Workshop

We are inviting our community to help shape our future identity as we embark on a new chapter as Toiwaka Turner Centre.

Join us for a relaxed creative gathering in the Event Centre, where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to draw, paint, collage, create, chat and share ideas.

Take the letter T and make it your own. Draw it, paint it, collage it, decorate it, reimagine it, whatever inspires you. We’re looking for as many different interpretations as possible, reflecting the creativity, cultures, stories and people that make our community unique.

This invitation is open to everyone who has a connection to the Centre. Whether you’ve attended a show, hired a space, volunteered, performed, worked with us, or simply walked through the doors, we’d love you to be part of it. Bring your favourite materials if you’d like, or use the art supplies available on the day. Pull up a chair, meet someone new, stay for ten minutes or two hours, and help create something that reflects the many people who make this place what it is.

Selected designs may be simplified, vectorised and reproduced in black and white for use across Turner Centre branding and promotional materials.
